Shadow is a fruit in Blox Fruits with a current trading value of 7M and a permanent value of 728M when trading with other players. Demand for the Shadow fruit is currently 60%.
The Shadow fruit is a pretty good fruit! Even though it's not the absolute strongest, it still does a lot of damage and is great for fighting other players (PvP) in the Third Sea.
Shadow is a decent choice for PvP because it deals high damage and has the 'Umbra' ability, but there are definitely stronger fruits. It's also okay for defeating lots of monsters quickly (grinding) because its [V] Corvus Torment move hits a wide area (AoE) and its [F] Umbrage move does good damage. However, it doesn't have many attacks that hit multiple enemies at once, as the [Z] Somber Rebellion and [C] Nightmare Leech moves only hit one target.
It's not recommended for the First Sea and early Second Sea because you need a lot of practice to master it (high mastery requirements) and it doesn't protect you from certain elemental attacks (lack of Elemental Immunity).
You can combine the fruit's abilities together to create effective attack combinations (combos), making it versatile in battles.

The player metamorphoses into a compact sphere of concentrated darkness, propelling themselves towards the designated cursor location. Upon impacting a foe, the user transmutes into a flurry of bats, inflicting damage before launching skyward, leaving their adversary prone. Successfully executing this maneuver grants the user temporary invincibility frames. Notably, this ability bears resemblance to the Godhuman fighting style's "Soaring Beast" (Z) technique.
Unleash a flurry of bats directed at your cursor's location; upon impact, the swarm detonates, inflicting damage and dispersing smaller bats. These miniature creatures will then seek out nearby foes, inflicting additional harm. These bats exhibit a minor tracking ability, endeavoring to converge upon targets within a certain radius. Be aware that multiple bats can converge and assault the same singular target, maximizing damage potential.
Executing this move propels the user ahead; upon striking a foe, a significant amount of damage is inflicted, causing knockback, while the user simultaneously recovers 20% of their maximum health. While reminiscent of Sanguine Arts' Bloodbane Drain, it features a reduced range and substantial end-lag. A lesser-known facet of this ability is its finisher variant: should the target's remaining health be less than half the move's damage potential, contact will trigger an immediate, explosive demise.
By completely exhausting their Umbra Meter, the user metamorphoses into an immense, shadowy orb, culminating in a devastating burst that releases a spreading umbral cloud. This explosion inflicts substantial harm and unleashes a flurry of bats, causing ongoing damage to foes within the cloud's confines. Furthermore, those impacted by the initial blast will experience a momentary disruption to their visual perception. The scale of both the black hole and ensuing explosion directly correlates with the user's Umbra Meter level. While the residual effects of the explosion offer minimal stunning capability, they function to draw enemies back into the move's area of effect, though escape is feasible through the skillful application of specific teleportation techniques.
Transform into a mobile cloud of bats, granting temporary moderate aerial maneuverability. Proximity to adversaries unleashes a flurry of bats, inflicting harm upon them. This transformation persists for a brief duration, concluding after ten seconds when reversion to the original form occurs.
